India hosted a Regional WPC Youth Forum alongside its established Petrotech event in New Delhi focusing on the South East Asian region.

2nd WPC Youth Forum (18th - 20th November 2008) – Paris, France
The 2nd WPC Youth Forum "Energise Your Future" took place in Paris, France from the 18-20 November 2009 with over 1200 young people attending. The debates continued online through the EnergiseMyNetwork site where live discussion forums involved over 2000 young people. The site is accessible via the 2nd WPC Youth Forum site at www.energisemyfuture.com, which also features an inspirational synopsis of the event and the full videos of the plenary discussions during the forum.

1st WPC Youth Forum (17th – 20th October, 2004) – Beijing, China
Recognising the importance of involving more young people in the oil and gas sector, the World Petroleum Council organised its 1st Youth Forum in Beijing in 2004 under the theme "Youth and Innovation – the Future of the Petroleum Industry". The Forum was an overwhelming success and won widespread acclaim from its participants. The authors of the best papers were invited to the 18th World Petroleum Congress in Johannesburg the following year.
